Name our new school motto!

Year 4 Remote Learning

  • Sway is the main source of learning, which should be accessed every day. Please find the link under the tab Classes> Year 4> then select the day of the week you are wanting to access.
  • A Year 4 Zoom call is at 2pm every day. This enables the children to see one another, for the teachers to give important feedback from the day's learning and to clarify any areas children may need more support with. Please email year.4@whingate.com for the log in details.
  • Important information is sent via the school app so it is very important that you have this downloaded. Please download 'School Jotter' in your app store, and search for 'Whingate'. Make sure you allow for the push notifications to come through.
  •  Phonics- If your child accesses phonics in school, there are daily activities for them to complete. Please go on to the 'Classes' tab and at the bottom select 'KS2 Phonics'.

We have a workbook for you to collect from school if you need one. This is for any written tasks you complete and also has all of your passwords in it.

If you complete any written work that you would like to send to us, please ask your adult to take a picture and email it to year.4@whingate.com . If you are having any problems with the tasks or have any questions for us, please email us.

We have created a timetable for you to structure your day but this is optional. You can complete the tasks in any order you choose and at the time which is suitable for you.

Online Learning!

Remember there are lots of resources available for you to continue your learning at home. Your passwords to these online learning platforms have already been sent out to you however, if you have lost these please email us and we can get you another copy!
