Here at Whingate, we are embarking upon a new and exciting adventure to put our core values to the test! Through physical storying telling and outdoor exploring, we are ready to investigate a new world of learning, using teamwork, confidence and resilience along the way.
Take a look at our missions from this year!
Year 2 had the most amazing week exploring the events that happened in The Great Fire of London in 1666. We completed missions that linked to our History objectives through imaginative outdoor role play, teamwork and resilience. The children "loved" this week! Please take a look at our pictures, you will see the children: carrying water from the river to the fires, putting fires out whilst competing against the raging fire and win, and will see the children being civilians and escaping the city with their most precious possessions.
