Whingate Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to supervise our pupils in the dining room, playground and throughout the school during the lunchtime period.

SEN Teaching Assistant

Term Time Only - Full Time - 30 Hours Per Week

Salary Scale B3 Points 7 -10

 

This is an exciting career move for an experienced person to support the learning and progress of our

wonderful pupils.

 

The job is specifically to support SEND children in the Early Years. The role will be to support children’s learning in class and supporting with the completion of paperwork such as observations, reports and assessments which contribute to the funding process. You will work alongside the teacher, SENCO and other agencies when appropriate.

 

You will:

•           Work within FS to support the children including those with SEND across the curriculum.

•           Work with the teachers to plan and run interventions for individual children or small groups.

•           When necessary liaise with parents and outside agencies to support children.

•           Use initiative and knowledge to give the very best support to our children.

 

You must already have experience of supporting children in a primary school and relevant qualifications and expertise working with SEND children.

Further necessary training will be provided.

 

Interviews will be held on Friday 26th April 2024.
