KS2 Teaching Assistant
Permanent (30 Hours per week)
Whingate Primary School is seeking to appoint a motivated, reliable and hardworking Teaching Assistant to support the learning and progress of our pupils. The role will be to support children’s learning in class and through interventions. You will work alongside the class teacher and at times you will run small intervention groups.
You will:
· Work based in KS2
· Work with the teachers to plan and run interventions for individual children or small groups.
· Develop an expertise which can support children who have additional learning, communication, emotional or development needs.
· Use initiative and be able to take direction to give the very best support to our children.
You must already have experience of supporting children in a primary school. Further necessary training will be provided.

References will be requested, and an online search carried out for shortlisted candidates, prior to attendance at the interview.
Further pre-employment checks, including prohibition from teaching, childcare disqualification, and section 128 checks, if deemed relevant for the role, will be completed for the successful candidate upon acceptance of the post.
