    Leeds Food Club

We have been made aware of this really great scheme for families struggling financially to buy food and it’s local - located on Chapel Lane in Armley.

The way it works is you can book in for a collection for one or both sessions (if this applies) You can book in every week if you wish. If you wish to go every week but to different sessions, then 2 membership fees will apply.

So for example, if you wanted to go twice a week, you’d pay £2 membership for the year and then the price of your shopping.

The first time you visit, you will need to bring a mask and a pen, together with photo ID and also a utility bill with your address on.

Also, you will need to bring a freezer bag - if you don’t have a freezer bag, they won’t be able to give you the chilled/frozen items.

You will be given a specific appointment time, which is a 5-minute slot. They will give you a membership form on your first visit.

You'd then need to pay your membership fee of £1 together with the cost of the shopping which is £3.50.

They currently only accept the correct fee in cash at the moment as they are having some issues with their card machines at present.

If you need any further information or wish to book in, please see the attached poster for further information.
